Title: Fighting Fear

First Impression: I felt immense sadness for the author.

What I liked: The second stanza when the author was talking to herself or himself about rising above the fears that hold whichever back. It is sad that fear can consume one's life so much.

What needs your attention: Nothing.

Favorite Parts: The realization what the fear is doing to one's life in the third stanza. It is compelling and very appealing the honesty which is shown by the author's recognition of the price paid for breaking promises to one's self. I truly hope the individual of this poem finds the strength to face the fear head on and take control of their life again. One step at a time, it can be done. I've been in difficult situations and I know how devastating fear can be but one must push ahead and focus on the good ahead.

Overall Impression: Well written, I liked how the author left it on the side of the page reflecting fear visually as well instead of boldly posting it in the center.
