Hello benaustin This is a Simply Positive Review! You know, I was going to pass on this poem at first. I thought perhaps it's just a lot of repeat words with defining adjectives. But then I read it a few times and it started to grow on me. You are quite correct of course that a house becomes a home when a family is added to it. Observation Just this contradictory part kind of made me pause a bit: "My family is selective" (discriminating) AND "My family is accepting" The contradiction of these lines makes your family "selective" picking and choosing whom they allow inside their home; yet they are accepting of people. See what I mean? Anyway, it was just a sticky part that caught my eye. However, I enjoyed the philosophy of it. This conclusion was the clincher! "My house is weird and so is my family My house and my family make my house a home" I think we have all thought that our families were weird at some time or another when growing-up with our families. But it's true, they make the memories that warm the heart of the home. Until next time--write on! Regards, WebWitch My review has been submitted for consideration in "Good Deeds Get CASH!" .
