Title: Little Donkey on the Beach

First Impression: The poem made me smile as I read.

What I liked: The happiness that is very apparent when reading about the child's connection with the donkey. The imagery of the blanket and the ribbons in her hair made me smile. As a child, I would have noticed that too.

What needs your attention: I would center the poem on the page, it is well written and should boldly jump from the page reflecting your confidence in your work.

Favorite Parts: The little girl promising to tell her children about the donkeys on the beach. Her contact with them was very special and she clearly does not want to forget them.

Overall Impression: The poem made me feel happy. It was that kind of feel good poem. The visula imagery complimented the excellent writing. I am glad I stopped to read.
