Hello there, Newbie! Welcome to WDC. *Sun*
This is a Simply positive Review

*Tear* You share with readers and writers on this site, the importance books have on our lives. In fact our lives are books, thus each day is a new story.

I love where you describe books as a treasure. They come in all shapes and sizes and there is something of value and or entertainment for everyone to choose.

Observations

*Leaf2g* I found no particular rhyming form in this poem, thus I place it under the free verse type of poetry.

Although it is free verse, in order to give it a smooth rhythmic flow, there should be a melodious blend throughout the lines that hit a connection with the reader. *Check3*

Example: You started the poem out with rhyming :

"Books are a treasure,
That ease your pressure,
And give you pleasure."

Thus the reader expected some form to continue, but it didn't. This doesn't mean there aren't rhyming words in free verse, it only means they have to be strategically placed for emphasis, rather than just dropping a rhyme and continuing on with a free verse.

In this section, you could really add the "wow" factor with words that boost the rhythm:

"Stories for children,
Texts for students,
Exam books for adults,
And myths for old."

TRY:

Tales for tots, will tease the imagination
Texts studied by teens, for better education.
Myths and mysteries make dreams more vivid,
They can color an elder's world with wonder...

This is just a quick example of how to add rhythmic words that will impact lines, by including a touch of alliteration, assonance and consonance.

I love the message of your poem and it will reach the minds and hearts of readers. I think with a little reworking of lines and an addition of some choice words, you will have a real winner, here.*Hotair*

Until next time--write on!
