This rhyming poem gives me a chance to remember the honey and cream voice of Karen Carpenter. I have hummed and learnt her songs for the sheer pleasure feeling the worlds she sings about. Always about good and never bad, was a characteristic of her singing graph. This is a great tribute to one of the greatest singing stars of our times, who makes us feel "on top of the world" with her ever green melodies.

Love and the benefit of appreciating nature come through transparently in her songs. Her music is effective because of the way she sings each word with crystal clarity and love of life. It is inspiring and delightful music, a feats to the listener's ear and mind. Her imagery is sensitive and appeals to all senses.
