Hello Yellow

A well written inspirational monologue that has the strength of pumping courage and enthusiasm in the listener.
Memories are brought to the surface so the listener's mind switches back to a pleasant past from a sad present. It is a challenge to write in first person plural addressing second person. We can't see him or her but with the kind of imagery you have used, we can visualize the other.
Innocent and spontaneous childhood experiences are mirrored here. They show the gap between the times of then and now.
The end shows that a desired change has taken place in the other person, for she or he is now ready to face life with renewed hope and joy of living. After all, no one gets the chance to live twice.
