I liked the title and description to this story. I felt the characters were both realistic and very much alive. Description is very good throughout- that cake actually made me hungry! I found it easy to relate to the wife as Ihave insomnia and often bake very late at night. Hmm, there's a sleep disorder clinic not fifteen minutes drive from us.
The only thing I could see improving this story was why the wife hated the sleep clinic so much she lied to her husband. Altogether though, it was a humerous and satisfying read that flowed well and kept my attention throughout.
I did feel sorry for the poor husband! Keep writing, now, I must go bake some muffins!
