This is a wonderful poem. It has a polished feel and flows beautiful. What an adorable idea to give this poem with the gift of Christmas walnuts!

I love how you make the contrast with the gifts brought to Jesus by the wise men. That was a clever, seasonal touch. I also particularly like the alliteration of 'winter's winding'.

This poem was a joy to read, and I have no hesitation in giving it a full five stars.
