Description shows the suddenness with which it could catch the lone person, who seems unaware of its speed and fury. what is shocking is the fact that it hunted the truck till the last minute and then disappeared into the distance.

It appeals to the eye and mind. Tension feels real as Jaylyn tries to get a hold on the huge truck as well as her own screaming mind.
Language and style-
Written effectively with suitable adjectives("harrowing five minutes", "grinning face," "swirling flames") and figures the story hold my attention. Style is spontaneous. The adventure of escaping from the leaping flames is not an easy task, aboard a truck or not. Man is just a toy when elements decide to rage against him.
