Hey there, untamedwriter. How are you doing? I'm working on today's prompt for 30DBC where we're reviewing and spotlighting someone else's blog and I figured I'd go for yours, because, why not? *Laugh* So here's a few words, thoughts, opinions on your blog, "Invalid Item" . Enjoy!

First Impressions
I like the title of your blog because it matches your username. I used to always think of a scribe in the biblical sense, like from the Old Testament. It's only since I've joined WDC that I've began to realize that scribe doesn't always have to be a biblical word. *Facepalm*

The next thing I noticed was that you blog for a lot of different groups, just like me. It looks like the only one you're not in that I am is the Blogging Circle of Friends. I think being involved in a lot of different groups works well for some bloggers. You can sort of pick and choose which you blog for and when. It keeps me on my toes.

Favorite Entry
Well, let's see, I liked "Invalid Entry"  because who doesn't like a little controversy? You didn't play it safe with that one, and that's cool with me. Every time this prompt comes up, I'm like, uh, let me find something positive that isn't going to make anyone argue. *Laugh* But you went about it in the right way that stated an opinion without being offensive or too biased.

Additives
There are some simple things a person can do to brighten up their blog and you implement almost all of them. You're down with the images, font colors and sizes, emoticons. It's the simple things that help break up the entries and make them more readable for, well, for a reader. It's so much easier to read something that's well-written and separated than a huge wall of text.

What Works
What I like about you and your blog is that you don't just answer the prompt with a few lines that first come to your mind. I can tell that you put some time and thought into how you answer the prompts and that's what blogging is all about to me. It's easy to see a question and say a one sentence long answer that first pops into your mind. It takes a dedicated, thoughtful blogger to dissect a prompt and look at it from all angles.

So, let's summarize. Your blog is super entertaining and I look forward to reading your answers to the prompts. That's all you need to have a successful blog. You have to be able to bring people back. You have to have them excited to read your entries when they see you've posted a new one. In my opinion, you've accomplished that.
