"SIMPLY POSITIVE GROUP

Hello there, Mandy
This is A Simply Positive Review.
*Scallopp*

*Rainbowl* Love it, love it! *Rainbowr*

You can thank πŸŒ• HuntersMoon for my reviewing of this item. His review of it piqued my curiosity and made me want to read the poem, myself. *Smirk*

*Gingerbread**Gingerbread* I loved the beginning of mankind, an Adam and Eve-like referral to the rib, "the bone" from which woman was created -- the bone of temptation? However, if the bone was taken by the man to create the woman, could it be that he rid himself of the "bad bone" and had reason to blame temptation by the woman for the birth of Original Sin?

*Shamrock* I like the philosophical play with the words, and the imagination tickling tone that smoothly caressed my muse to slither through the poem with easy glide, as a snake does, spying upon the sin of mankind, which begins at birth; thus, forever thereafter, with each new generation. The struggle remains throughout life, mankind vs. spiritual enlightenment -- the dark side weaves a web of despair.

*Frog* Your poetry forms used were a delight to the eyes and a feast to the mind's eye. It goes to show that even something that has dark connotations can sound so lyrical it excites the senses, allowing them to see, hear, touch and smell the aroma of paradise before after its loss.

*Vignette7* Lines that jumped out and grabbed my attention:

"He paints a shiny serpent on the ocean--
His medium of oil, a black devotion."

"could it be that he was poisoned by Her bone?
Still || β€œit is not good for man to be alone.”

Brava!

*Crown* No suggestions for improvement, here -- it stands perfect as is, at least in my mind. I so enjoyed filling-in my interpretation of the poem as it hit the mind's eyes. Yet, I must remind you that I have a very vivid imagination that tends to go on a field trip with poetry that catches my attention. This did that handily! *Countryau*

Until next time--write on!

Regards,
WebWitch
