I decided to stop by your port because I wanted to read and review a poem and something enjoyable. The cover image caught my attention since it's the one I saw in Weekly Image Prompt Contest.

I enjoyed this metaphorical poem. I didn't capture what exactly the rain represented in metaphoric language. The proverb told me that the rain symbolized life struggles where the persona was the rock.

For the most part, the rain cleansed and washed away. Here, it looked like rain represented time. As time passed, dreams and memories too passed. I thought you followed the prompt accurately, especially with the addition of colors.

The refrain didn't feel forced at all *Thumbsup*.

Great intriguing poem. Write on!
