"SIMPLY POSITIVE GROUP

Hello there, Newbie! Welcome to WDC. *Cupcakey* .
This is a Simply Positive Review.

*Right* Wow, the sights and sounds really jumped out at me as I pictured this poor woman, lost within her insanity and stuck in a life of illusions.

She is also stuck in the delusional belief that her husband is still hers, alone. I thought at first he was being kind to still visit her in her condition, doing so because there was no one else to do so. That may be his motive or not. *Ringsgold*

Observations:

*Suitspade* I think there needs to be a bit more clarity surrounding the events.

*Questionr* The reader has questions, such as what cause his wife to go insane? Was it something he did in their marriage or did something traumatic happen to her? How did she lose her teeth?

*Radioactive* Also, the reader is left wondering if he ever divorced the first wife before taking on the second wife. It is evident that the second wife does not know about the first wife, as he keeps the asylum visits a secret. Thus, the reader is led to believe that perhaps this is a man who cannot be trusted. He has a secret life. I can't help but wonder if a repeat of insanity with his wife happens with the second one. Does he tire of them and have them driven to insanity by some method?

You see what I mean? There are just so many questions needing answers. *Traincar1bl*

*Film* I didn't see a word count, thus assume it was not a flash fiction with a tight word count written for a contest, but I could be wrong about that. Even in flash fiction, the words need to be chosen wisely so as to develop a story sufficiently and answer questions and tie-up loose ends for the reader.

*Monster2* However, taken on its whole, I could picture the horrors of the wife behind bars and the new life the husband made for himself. He seems happy for now -- well-deserved or not, at this point, without more facts, I guess it's up to the reader to decide what his motives were. Hey -- that's not a bad thing, either! Thus I'm rating it as if it were a flash fiction with a psychological twist that gives the reader the choice of deciding the husband's good or bad motives.

Well done! *Mugg*

Until next time--write on!
