General Impressions: It's important to control your anger, so it's great that you've been working on that. I've been trying to work on that as well, or just keeping myself in check in general. I can see what you say about the spiraling patterns and thoughts. Sometimes we find ourselves doing the same things over and over as if they'll someday work, but they never do unless we change.

Best Parts: I liked the third line a lot. The idea of these thought patterns bouncing forward in rhythm with past memories lets the reader know that with practice and effort, we can all change the way we react to situations in order to live a happier life. There was some nice imagery in the last line as well, although it was a bit of a mouthful.

Possible Suggestions: I would cut the third line into two lines because it's much longer than the rest and messes with the flow a bit. The last line 'with locomotive speed towards appeasable waves' was just a lot to take in at once. It seems a bit rushed and might do well with a bit of revising.
