*CakeB* HAPPY WDC ACCOUNT ANNIVERSARY FROM "Anniversary Reviews*CakeP*

The injustice of this story almost made me wish that the narrator would succeed in her endeavour and kill her evil twin sister. *Worry* As it happens, the wrong she had been experiencing all her life struck again and left Bonnie the hero of the hour. For a moment I wondered if the ending was hinting that Bonnie wasn't all that bad after all or that she had changed, because she helped to selflessly. But although the readers didn't get to see Bonnie's reaction, the mother spoke for her and confirmed that the narrator’s perception had been right all along.

There was something quite exaggerated in the narrator's descriptions of Bonnie's behaviour which made me think that it was perhaps just jealousy that drove her to dislike her sister. But when the father also reacted overly dramatic by trying to break down his daughter's door or break in through the window, it became clear that it wasn't just a matter of perception and the narrator was right, Bonnie was the favourite and knew how to use that to her advantage.

I understood why the narrator was sent to an aunt for the first few weeks of her life but I wasn't sure why she then remained secluded for years . And early hint at the fact that the rivalry between the sisters could lead to violence, perhaps? Or just another indication that the narrator's life was of no importance to the family? I wasn’t sure.

Although the storyline was quite disturbing, it made for a good read!
