TITLE: Wow! What a poem, I think I would like to see a more powerful title to such a powerful poem, but that is just my personal opinion.

THEME: The theme is of the despair and desolation we all feel and fear when the snow piles deep, I don't believe any one who lives in the sunbelt of the country can ever understand the true nature of cabin fever.

TONE: Your tone is melancholy with a touch of self pity, your word choice portrays this very well! Great Job!

PACE: Your pace is quick despite the sorrowful tone. I could feel the snow piling up deeper and deeper as I read.

FLOW/RHYTHM/METER: Your poem has a wonderful flow, your word choice and form lead to a great piece.

FIGURATIVE LANGUAGE: Your imagery is fantastic, your word choice sublime! The richness of the picture you paint is wonderful! Excellent job!


EXCELLENT WRITING EXAMPLES: The following are my favorite lines...

our lady of overwhelming whiteness
who lies on couches
crushed under her attempts to save
everything but herself.

I especially love the reference to 'our lady of overwhelming whiteness'
