Hi, love! I'm working on the dystopian challenge at "a very Wodehouse challenge"  and need to review three group members. It occurred to me that I haven't reviewed you since the Newbies ONLY contest, so I peeked through your port. I didn't get very far!

Since the contest is a Highlighted item, I figured that you might want some feedback on it. I have to say that I'm absolutely one of your target participants. I write poetry constantly, some of which has at least a GC rating, all of which is free verse, and I despise prompts and having to write poems specifically for a contest. My creativity only flows my way. I also love having a place to enter older pieces after revision.

In short, I'm already a big fan of the concept. The more entirely open contests, the better. That especially applies to the lack of maximum line counts. My style uses heavy line breaks, which increases the line count dramatically, but the word count is a mere fraction of some poems with half their line length. What this means is that there is no contest on WDC that will accept most of my poetry, despite the fact that they may be faster to read than other entries. Just one of the many reasons that I don't enter contests.

I think that the layout for the contest is fine. I might consider making the alias links much smaller or moving them to the bottom of the page though. It seemed weird to not launch immediately into what the contest is about. The page appears to be cohesive (and quite nice for there to be word/image prompts for those who want them).

I would be happy to support the contest in any way. If you need a guest judge, let me know. If you want a permanent judge, I would gladly give up the ability to enter if it means supporting a contest with rules that I agree with. I think that the contest fills a void in the community, after all. Happy to send a donation when you get close to launch as well.
