A bit heart-rending, and remorseful personal poem.
Sadness rings through the poem like a background score. Mood is one of missing someone forever. Helpless at being just an audience while the sweetheart finds pastures new and more appealing. That's not true love, for you can't change people like you change shirts.

I find no rancor as someone else gets him or he looks up and finds pleasure elsewhere.

"She is young, energetic, pretty
I am older, duller, plain"
It is not the physical that stays but the element of depth of love that matters.

Expression-
It is perfect throughout. The poet says what she feels in an appealing way. Reader's sympathies go with her.
"I hope that you'll be happy
I hope she'll treat you good"
How can he be happy forgetting old love and replacing it with new?
The poet' s good nature surfaces with these words and more.

Imagery appeals to heart.
It flows well.
