Fall's unique place in the scheme of nature is well projected in this rhyming verse. It is a special season for being in the middle of summer and winter. It is not hot or humid, neither is it cold and chilly. It is soothingly cool, reflective and calm. Yes, I see why fall is so admirable.
"I am neither warm, nor am I cold,
It's just that way between seasons."
Imagery-
Poet uses colors of nature to depict its beauty in the fall. Though spring is supposed to be colorful with the newly sprouting leaves and buds, it is the season of fall or autumn that appears mature like a woman who traveled midway in life. No wonder the Keats described it as a "season of mists and mellow fruitfulness,"
I like the way poet uses adjectives preceding the colors.
" Of mystic crimson and bright yellow."
I like the adjectives preceding the colors.
Rhyming-
A feature that stands out among others is its rhyme. Word endings are used in a manner that lets the reader recite it with ease.
It flows well.
