I see that the author's style of a character sketch is quite humorous with a little self searching to make life more than merely "mundane". Happy is the person who knows what is best for his time on earth.
"Why order the Orange Chicken when you already know the General Tso’s is more than satisfactory?"
Appealing metaphor. Don't upset your apple cart. Right?

This contemplative sketch shows a person who loves to be by himself, with his creature comforts assured.
"Plus it only leaves me with one thing to wash at the end of the day."

It is a kind of right observation that prestigious school education falls to nothing once you taste life outside the four walls of it. Not all of it am sure though.

There are several tongue-in-the-cheek statements aimed at fellow drivers, driving, "office watering hole" and many more.

A bit wry but attractive style with frank and amusing observations on life and situations the writer comes across.

Quite engaging.
