by gore? --Threw me out of the poem right away. I wasn't sure what gore you meant, guts hanging out or what.

corned beef and cabbage is Irish American, lol but you got it to all fit in there nicely, then I read it was in a castle so it was probable, if they had corned beef there. lol Only the rich could afford beef. You got the several hours right, but NOT boiling, makes it tough. simmer is better. Did you look up how long it takes to 'corn' something? lol Can you tell I like to cook?
