A true story no doubt.
Little Josh was lucky to have found a man who took him to Asda and got his whereabouts announced to the public. This story is told as it happened, so it pulled me in.
It is difficult to keep on eye on a child in the rush of a public place. Children look for a chance to slip out to enjoy a free walk all by themselves.
Mother's state of panic is also quite real. It is natural to feel lost when her child is not seen where she left him/her. Step by step description of what came to pass is well done.
Finally, when the kid was found, the mother felt drained with relief. It is as if she came out of her worst nightmare. A mother knows what it feels like being united with the child.
I have had a similar experience with my younger son who got lost for an hour. One of the office guys at the place got him and took him to the main office and got it announced. We all ran there to the spot and there he was perched in the arms of the office clerk. God, what an experience!
Well done.
