As I could see, it is quite an organized life. Plans are well laid with a view to have a nice, fun-filled life. Perhaps this is what is living life to the full.
The idea of giving up on old mementos and family heirlooms is excellent. Indeed, instead of amassing, it is more meaningful in distributing the needless if also valuable possessions. It is great to be detached in the materialistic aspect of life.

I think I am going to take a leaf out of the author's well planned life.
