Hello! I'm working on a challenge right now that requires me to review items about any form of abuse. I remembered entering this contest and dug through my past forum posts until I found it (took ages but worthwhile).

I think that the idea behind this contest is excellent. There is now a contest for poetry about abuse (any type), but it is nice to have one specifically about sexual abuse. It was nice to know that my work on the subject would be welcome. It tends to make people extremely uncomfortable if I'm honest about it, so I instantly warmed to the idea of a contest in which the judges were actively looking for poems on the topic.

I also think it is wonderful that this contest accepts short stories. It may be easiest for some people to fictionalize the entire event(s). Very inclusive rule, and I'm sure it is appreciated.

So that's all I have to say. The contest is a great addition to the WDC community, the prizes are very generous, and I think the topic is one that needs to be out there. Keep up the good work.
