This is a Simply Positive Review.

I actually like your monologue with its painting of an internal struggle to change a path in life that has been well worn and becoming worn out and tedious.

Change comes slowly, but when a decision is taken to make the change, then it has purpose . The person making changes feels more control and grows from that strength. One who does not change when all signs point to the errors of doing things the same, mechanical way, makes it reaction rather than a definite action. I like that!

Observations:

"Then, like a pinball machine, my mind bounces the idea through the different decision paths and I weigh the pros and cons as to how that such [a] response will benifit [benefit] me in the long run."

This story needs to have some paragraph breaks, with some double-click spaces, so it does not look like a complete wall of words, which is harder to read on electronic screens. Readers will look at it and not give it a chance because they don't want to pore through a long wall of words without pause. Thus, you may miss reviewers who would have liked reading this if it were only formatted a little better.

Otherwise, this was a fine look at ones personal struggle to make changes in their life and handle situations in a different manner.
