*BalloonR* Welcome to WDC from "Newbie Welcome Wagon! *BalloonR*

I found your story in "Read a newbie" and it got my attention. Though I am not a real fan of ghost stories, it was the title that mainly drew me in. And I didn't regret it. Although it was written as a ghost story, the way it unfolds, could also be anything other than that. The ghost element is given as a dream, in a way that we could assume that it was just a mother's dream.
A mother's nightmare is losing her children. I imagine that the way you describe Sara and her reactions to everyone else around her is very realistic. But you don't just "tell' about her heartache. You show it, especially with the second part which is the description of a happy day with her family. I don't know if it is a dream of Sara's before she died, or if she had already died and met her family again. It could be read either way, and it works perfectly either way. So, what really concludes the story and ties all the ends is actually your ending. Strangely, it is not creepy or scary, it just leaves a bittersweet taste of what could have been for this family.
Thank you for sharing. Keep writing.
