Title: The Roses' Spirit

First Impression: I think you definitely captured the essence of the rose's spirit. Roses are my favorite flower as I was reading I was thinking about each section and yes, the rose does stand proudly and unyielding against Mother Nature, I am happy they do.

What I liked: I like you described a characteristic of the rose at the end of each stanza reaffirming it's true capability, I also sensed that it could be a story within a story about a woman facing life and standing strong and unyielding as well.

What needs your attention: Not a thing, the poem flows beautifully with lovely images in the readers mind of the different types of roses that she is familiar with and loves.

Favorite Parts: In the calm of night, the rose will heal and at first light be brilliant. I am a morning person and I agree seeing them in the early morning with dew kisses standing tall is a magnificent sight to behold. Once the sun touches them and their petals begin to spread and they release their sweet aroma, I always feel reassured.

Overall Impression: This was a joy to read, and I will be fanning it as a favorite. I can see why it has a lovely ribbon.
