Hi sunnystarr,

I am Lorraine and I am reviewing your piece "Newbies Corner"  today in affiliation with "Simply Positive Review Forum " .

Title: It's for newbies, so seems good to me! I enjoyed the running theme in your port of "corners" for certain things. You port must have a lot of corners. *Wink*

First Impression: This is a good list of resources for newbies, when I spotted I thought I'd stop by and see if I could learn anything new and help you out with some suggestions for things that could be added.

Old Links: Some of these things are closed or not running anymore. "Invalid Item" , for example and the " Weekly NEWBIE Challenge" , which hasn't been in active in 4 years. The image ID at the bottom of the list is also broken.

New Links: You could add a couple of the newbie only contests that are floating around. A new forum was also recently opened over at "Invalid Item" . I'm by no means an expert on places to go for newbies, this is just a place I came across that I realised wasn't on the list.

Arrangement: If you have the time, and wanted to make the effort. You could expand this list to put things under certain categories. A category for contests, discussions, help, official Writing.Com stuff etc.

Spelling/Grammar: There's not much writing. *Laugh* So no errors spotted.

Closing Thoughts: Thanks for creating this for new members of WDC. It deserves to get plenty of visits from new members!
