A lovely spot. [GC] Anglers get possessive about their secret fishing pools. |
Hello there, Newbie! Welcome to WDC. This is a Simply positive Review. Wow, this story grabbed me by arm and pulled me right into the scene. There is a reason for that. The descriptions highlighted the natural backdrop and architectural picture of a bridge over the water, the calmness of the moment and stillness of the night, moon light and fly fishing. What else could a reader ask for in this compact, yet bursting at the seams story? You've got it all covered. It is a dark story, of course and all is not what it appears to be at first. I like the meshing-in of the conflict and the peaceful respite following a not so peaceful struggle. Observation: "He examined the fish, it was eight inches long and looked and felt around eight pounds in weight." I do love to fish, mostly salt water. However, I have a difficult time wrapping my mind around and eight-inch long trout, weighing eight pounds? It seems like a lot of weight within a small frame. Just my humble opinion, of course. I had to change the rating of this item, due to the violence and graphic material. Otherwise, this was a very entertaining story. Well done! Until next time--write on! Regards, WebWitch My review has been submitted for consideration in "Good Deeds Get CASH!" .
