"SIMPLY POSITIVE GROUP" Hello there, Ghostranch This is Simply Positive Review! I just loved this poem, for its imagery and its touching of emotion, through metaphorical weavings, painting the picture and memorializing love as if on an artist's canvas. The leaves, one younger and greener, the other brown and older, possibly showing wisdom and patience, entwines itself with the lost green leaf, that was prematurely plucked from the branch's twig, by a passing bird. The bird is the catalyst, that set the leaf free, for if it hadn't had that opportunity at that exact moment, the younger leaf would not have met the wiser, maturer leaf that would keep it safe until its own body returned to dust. I felt the sadness of the maturing green leaf, losing its vibrant color, yet alone to face the final steps of its life cycle, without the closeness and support, of the brown leaf, that had already finished its life cycle. Beautiful imagery but also applies to relationships in life. Love it, even with the bittersweet ending. Until next time--write on! Regards, WebWitch My review has been submitted for consideration in "Good Deeds Get CASH!" .
