Othello's Adjustment [13+] 1939 Cat Witnesses the Inhumanity of Humans - Humans Never Change Do They |
Review number # 1 of week July 24-30th, 2015 Hi Thing, My name is Lyn and I am doing a review for Simply Positive. Please remember I am a writer, I know what it feels like to be reviewed! Please take what you feel is helpful and disregard the rest. Only YOU know what is right for your writing! Title: Othello's Adjustment First Impression: That was heart breaking to read, a great perspective from a cat's point of view. What I liked: Othello adjusting to the changes without becoming finicky, he's a cat, he could have. What needs your attention: Nothing, you did a great job telling about a horrible time in history. Favorite Parts: The library lady taking Othello to a nice place, though Nuremburg would emotionally exhausting to all that went to see justice. Justice to me is an interesting word, because it is unattainable. Those who were tortured and killed can't come back, those who suffered will never be the same and laws are twisted to suit the need. Guess you can tell I have no faith at all in the legal systems. Overall Impression: Very engaging to hear about a horrible time in history through the eyes of a black and white cat that once had a family and then had to survive during an invasion. I can't imagine why the judge found objection to this, it is very well written. I don't connect positive things with smoke stacks either. Thank you for letting me read your work. It was my IMMENSE pleasure! Lyn My review has been submitted for consideration in "Good Deeds Get CASH!" .
