Hi Fi ! I am Aqua and the following are only my personal opinions. Ultimately, you and only you can decide what works best for your item.

I was looking for items to review when I opened your port and decided to review you. The title of your poem didn't capture my attention as compared to the attention that the brief description captured. The title of the poem, "Valentine's Day" was a common title and I have seen many poems with this title but it was the description that made me stop and be intrigued by the description.

Almost everyone is interested in the Valentine's Day as people await for flowers, chocolates, love confessions, new beginnings on this very day and this perspective is widely known and expressed at many occasions. However, at the same time, there is another perspective where people don't go but it is a reality, the perspective shown in your poem. With new beginnings, there are endings, heartbreaks and that is what is expressed in your poem. The second stanza of your poem reminded me of hunger games, I don't know, maybe because of the wording? Like it is just a game, where the other person is thrown, their hopes and hearts destroyed, their feelings, emotions molded leaving them with a bitter experience of this day that was supposed to be a day of love.

The first line of the poem gave the reader the idea as to what the poem is going to be about. The theme was very simple but I loved the way you presented it. You used a very good, advanced vocabulary to express your emotions to the reader perfectly. The flow of your poem was very good, there was no interruption and it flew well on reading it out loud. My favourite stanza was the last one because I loved how you expressed what it all did to you and how it tore you down and your defenses but along with the good things that it did to you, you became stronger. However, my favourite line from the entire poem was "You put out my light, but I'll reignite and shine." Very, very powerful, impacting and absolutely inspiring!

Thank you for sharing your work with us!
