I loved this, Jacky! What a great name for the club, too: Roller Skating Disco in-line Skating Club!

About six or seven years ago, Hubby gave me inline skates for Christmas. I never asked for them... he just thought he'd get them for me along with a helmet and padding. I'd broken my leg five years previous to that, so...What was he thinking? He doesn't even in-line skate! I permanently lent everything to my 35 year-old daughter, who is married with children. She loves them! I am a clutz.

I loved this last stanza:

They kindly and politely gave my fee back
(Actually they made it clear that I was gone.)
So the Roller Skating Disco in-line Skating Club
For me, was skate alone, with earphones on.
