Yes you are right when we act play we can memorize the words by repetition. With our memory we can store date, information our past experiences in our brain. I learned from your writing that the memory becomes a sub-node when we memorize anything such as play, song or anything. With our memory we acquire knowledge. You wrote everything with some good examples (I like the example of dot-matrix printer). You nicely explained with the Chinese character and with several pictures.
