This has such a warm feeling to it.

I could easily picture a person, slowing down for a change, and stepping out to gaze upon the sun, before standing there in awe, wondering at the beauty that often escapes our eyes.

I like the way you described this scene. And when you said "God’s tapestry" it made me smile. It is such a beautiful expression. Like an artist crafting a new painting each day. Quite poetic!

I really enjoyed reading this. And I love the beginning, with the person the narrator has never known. It felt like this scene unifies people, even those who have never met.

This is my favorite line: "At what we always thought we saw."
