Hello, gutguzzler. My name is Charlie and I'm happy to celebrate your WDC account anniversary with a quick review. *Balloonbl* *Starbl*

General thoughts.
Why is the sun so cruel? Don't think I haven't noticed it burning my eyes out when I'm walking home with a hangover. *Laugh* I thought this was a super interesting idea for a quick flash fiction. It's cool to think about how we would rather live in denial and hear something that makes us feel good, but I know it to be true just from being around people and being big on denial myself.

That's cool.
I loved the descriptions in your story. They were very vivid and I could see the setting really well. I also liked the way the 'truth' spoke to the main character as he tried to summon the night before back. Oh, early morning regrets.

Consider this. I didn't really notice much here that needed to be corrected. There was one typo I think. 'striping' the sheets off the bed instead of 'stripping' the sheets off the bed. That was the only mistake that I noticed.

Have you ever thought about turning something like this into poetry. There were a couple lines that were really poetic. I even think they rhymed. *Laugh* I write free verse with no rhyme, so I don't know why rhyming would make me think of poetry, but I think it was a combination of the two- it being poetic and also rhyming. It was the last part of the middle paragraph. It might be cool as a poem if you wanted to have another version of it.

The end. Overall, this was an enjoyable and interesting story. I hope you're enjoying your anniversary month. Thanks for sharing with us!
