Working in a retail store really does open your eyes to a lot of "Holiday" nonsense! For a poem so tiny, this one really packs a punch! *Bigsmile*

● Storyline/Plot:

The plot of this poem is quite clear - the Reason For the Season has turned into a cash-fest! The Walmart that my Pharmacy job is situated in starts putting Halloween items out at the end of August, and Christmas stuff immediately after Halloween. They are not about to miss out on one single cent if they can help it!

Ahhh, but this is true for any department store, or even dollar stores. There is no shortage of holiday goodies to be found, and there are times when you will see Christmas items along side of Valentine's Day stuff. It is pretty ridiculous, if you ask me - but then again, I'm not an avid shopper. *Rolleyes*

"Please spend quite freely,
A credit card will do.
We will wait till new year
To make you, your actions rue." This is so true! People out there shopping, using plastic as if it's unlimited cash...ohhh, but when the bill comes! *Shock* *Facepalm*
