I found this item by clicking on the Community tab on the left of the screen and selected Read a Newbie. This was one of the items on the page, and the title lured me in.

A great way to introduce a Doctor, I felt like someone was trying to get me to check this person out, this was almost a walking advertisement. The way it is written and displayed on the page, I think a picture may have been in place and since removed, of the doctor in question.


This starts out strong, but is left unfinished. We learn of Dr Richard, but not of Jonathan Sykes. I felt like I was missing something. With both names at the beginning of the article, and then only one mentioned, this felt incomplete and a work in progress.

This almost read to me as if someone was speaking this from a podium and making an introduction. At the end of this, Dr Richard would then make his way on stage.

Where the article leaves off is a great place to then introduce and tell us of Jonathan Sykes and his accomplishments. I feel this piece has told me enough about Richard that I am now left wandering about Dear Jon.

Overall this is a great start, but left incomplete and the reader is then confused as to the point of it. With more addition this could be a great piece.
