What brought Capt. Hoovsie meandering in a space time continuum over to your port?

*Cow* I was perusing your portfolio and looked in the comedic poetry section. Even though you wrote this a while back, it is as true today.

What does hoovsie think about while perusing your item?

*Cool**Idea*The problem with these dire forecasts is that it is hard to take them seriously when we need to because they are always predicting that doom that is coming our way. I think the cable and weather channels make all the hype much worse because no one wants to err on the side of under calling a big storm, especially after Hurricane Katrina.

What does hooves moo and applaud about while reading your item?

*Thumbsup* I like the "we'll let you know when it's clear" part. That is what I need. Usually now I face the fact that I can't do anything about the snow or ice and I just watch a movie or an old TV show like NYPD Blue that has a lot of episodes. I don't think there is any point in having my blood pressure skyrocket when I can't do a thing about it.

I wish the weather forecasts would generally be more accurate. That would be nice.
