Hey there, The Sun SmilesOn Small Valley ! Happy WDC anniversary in a few days. I thought I'd put some stars on your 55 word stories folder because it looks so empty without any! I have no idea how people write full stories with so few words. I've always had a hard time keeping things to a minimum, so I'm impressed by your ability to wrap things up so quickly. I read all three stories in your folder because 3*55 is a reasonably easy read, yeah?

I think my favorite of the three was "A Narrow Escape" because who doesn't like a bit of suspense in 55 words? The thing with short stories like this is that I always want to know more though, you know? I want to know who planted a bomb on Sergeant Steve's car, even though I'm happy he narrowly escaped a certain death. It's hard to be fully satisfied from such short snippets of a story. What's good about it though is that you could easily probably use these stories to create longer stories if you ever had a bad case of writer's block.

Anyway, thanks for sharing your folder with us. I think it will look good with some stars on it.
