What brought Hoovsie meandering in a space time continuum over to your port?

*Cow* I am the judge in "The Writer's Cramp - Poetry Week"  today, so here I am to read and send a review. Thank you for entering!

What does hoovsie think about while perusing your item?

*Cool**Idea* In your poem you set out a plan to live life to the fullest during your last hour. There is a little lust and a little pure enjoyment and appreciation of what you perceive as the finer things.

The title refers to what happens before and after life - to me anyway. That is where the last part comes in.

What does hooves moo and applaud about while reading your item?

*Thumbsup*There is something so reassuring in the notion of things carrying on despite or maybe because of our lives on earth.

I thought this part was stellar:

"I will be buoyed as I go down
with pressures
overwhelming me, until
I’m gone into the depth
of ocean vast, and old and such
that brings about the stirrings
of new life, the vital force
spawned in the main
oh so long ago."

It is comforting to think so, anyway - that we go back to where we came and it all goes on and on.
