What brought Hoovsie meandering in a space time continuum over to your port?

What does hoovsie think about while perusing your item?

*Cool**Idea* I think you are right, it is the small, sometimes unexpected things that make me happiest in life. Maybe I should focus on them more and not the big events. It seems like the big staged events (like weddings) lead to negative things for a whole host of reasons - maybe it is because there is too much pressure to be happy at an event that gets so much attention.

I can already think of five small things today that make me happy, inspired by your list. Mine would be rain letting up so I could take my dog out without the big umbrella, my dog sleeping until it is daylight so that I could see without having to hold a flashlight and the golf umbrella, my dog waiting for me at the bottom of the stairs, always happy to see me, my husband calling me from his trip, telling me first thing that he loves me and my dog's breathing being okay because the rain washed away the pollen. *Delight*

What does hooves moo and applaud about while reading your item?

*Thumbsup* I think it is a gift to be able to focus in on the positive things and not dwell on what we might be anxious about. The election coming up here is a constant source of anxiety that we can do nothing about. Without the cable TV, I don't hear about it as much, but it still seems to loom over everything thanks to our alarmist media.

It is good to stop and appreciate that which is positive. I will try to do that more, inspired by your entry! Thank you!
