In Search of Ernest T. Bass [13+] My Trip to Mayberry Ended With a Surprise Random Act of Kindness! |
"SIMPLY POSITIVE GROUP" Hello there, ♥Hooves♥ This is a Simply Positive Review! Oh my, I so loved this story. I remember watching the Andy Griffith show when I was young, and can even see them on reruns on the nostalgic channels. Old, black and white, wholesome shows -- gone unless in reruns. They were an amusing bunch of characters to tune into on the tube. That Ernest T was quite a mischievous citizen of Mayberry! Loved his portrayal of the irritating hillbilly rebel, out to cause stress especially to the ever uptight, Barney Fife. I enjoyed the view of Mount Airy, Andy's real life hometown, through the eyes of my sweet bovine friend, Hooves. Great visual treats rolling around my mind about the little town. You make me want to take a trip out there. It seems to be extra special around Christmas time, but it is sad indeed that the buying of the theater changed the heart and soul of the seasonal celebrations for the townspeople and tourists. Really? The almighty dollar always seems to be the great motivator. However, I was giggling a bit when you stated people weren't showing up for the concerts there, anymore. They still hang on to their small town hospitality. I hope the little shops and diner remain quaint, as described. I will avoid the theater, of course. Well done and informative, as well as a fun read! Until next time--write on! Regards, WebWitch My review has been submitted for consideration in "Good Deeds Get CASH!" .
