Title/General Thoughts/Subject Matter:
Well, this is an interesting little experience, huh? These two-sentence horror stories were fun, quick reads. I actually think some of them would make awesome writing prompts if you felt like starting a contest around here at some point. We have plenty of horror writers to run with an idea. Just a thought though. You could easily expand on these yourself, if you were so inclined.

What Worked: I really loved the first two of these. My favorite was the second one:

Every night for the last thirty years I’ve dreamt that I was falling. Last night I saw the ground for the first time.

My mind totally went crazy with this whole backstory behind just these two sentences. I was picturing a psychological horror story where the person has night terrors and can't tell if they're awake or asleep. Then it could turn out that their spouse was slowly poisoning them and causing hallucinations or something. I'm telling you, total contest prompt material! *Laugh* I also liked the first one a lot. It reminded me of that scary story where the kid says that there's a monster in his closet and the parent goes to check only to find the kid in the closet saying there's a monster in his bed. I'm not sure why it reminded me of that story, but it's a cool premise either way.

Technical Issues/Suggestions: The third one was probably the weakest of the bunch to me. Although I guess it's more relevant to the story I was talking about before. It was just a bit clunky to read, almost like a run-on sentence. It wasn't a smooth read. The premise behind it is still cool, but I think that one would NEED to be more than two sentences to give the full effect and background to the story.

Final Thoughts: Overall, I thought this was a cool idea. I can definitely see most of these working for longer pieces as well. Thanks again for sharing your writing with us! See you around.

Best wishes,
