Hi, Ann! I just thought that I'd give you a short review here. I was actually one of the judges for the Short Shots contest this month, so I reviewed 13 entries just now all based on the same picture. You entry was disqualified because it is a book entry not an item (a requirement for the official contests), but I thought that I'd read it anyway to see what you did with it.

At first, I have to admit that you had me scratching my head. The guy in the picture didn't look very heartbroken to me! I thought that maybe you saw the laughter was thought... "Nope! He's actually sobbing his eyes out!" Interesting idea actually. But no... quick as a blink, he went from depressed to bliss. Love can do that, I suppose.

Anyway... love you, Ann! We haven't talked for a while, and I imagine that once you have your hip replaced and whatnot, it will be a while still. But I'll be thinking of you.
