I saw this lovely title while scrolling the Non fiction items for something with citations and couldn't resist checking it out! I was so happy to see it was a theme related to Tolle. I so appreciate his works and inspiration myself! I listened to his first book when it came out years ago and then read the one you refer to as well! Wonderful power of example he is.
and Points us in a new direction. His youtubes are good too.

Your commentary is sincere and well expressed. I enjoyed what you said of nature and the duality and dichotomy of life.

You opened the discussion in an appealing way and your understandings are clear. You make a good point about his examples. I don't see "yeilding" to mean take what is not helpful sitting down--but to be present with what is and from there see the next choice to make. If we fight or resist--it causes more stress and drama rather than Being calm and seeing what is happening--allowing it yet making a change that works for us. We do have to live in the world and deal with what comes up for sure. *Facepalm*

Your writing flows with calm and elegance and was a joy to read. Your thesis bears pondering and is inspirational in itself as it opens for a dialogue and points to the truth that we are all in it together--one with all---how can we get back to that peace?
