What brought Hoovsie meandering in a space time continuum over to your port?

*Cow* I saw you had added to your Women Writing Women project, so here I am to read and send a review.

What does hoovsie think about while perusing your item?

*Cool**Idea* I used to be hooked on quite a few of the soaps that I taped. I stopped being hooked in 1994-95 when the O.J. Simpson trial was on and then I taped that off of Court TV every day to watch for a year and a half or so and I would take it over to my Dad's house and we would watch it and discuss the trial. That was the last major activity type thing I did with my Dad before he died at the end of 1995.

But, when I was younger I would watch it with my friends and with my niece, Tracy. We especially liked General Hospital and I took her to see some of the stars from that show one time at a Water World theme park outside of D.C.

Plus, I took her and her brother to see Erica Kane from All My Children at a mall, well really Susan Lucci. We had a lot of fun doing that. Susan Lucci was about 4'11", very petite.

I watched Y & R too from the early days with Mrs. Chancelor and her maid, the real life stewardess, Esther.

Well, you say Victor is in prison. Jack should be in prison, too. If Victor has problems usually it used to be that Jack was behind it.

What does hooves moo and applaud about while reading your item?

*Thumbsup* I liked reading about the goings on. Victor was the big one I recognized. I remember him with Ashley and then with Nicky. I read a book by Jeanne Cooper (Mrs. Chancelor) where she said one day on the set the guy who plays Victor and the guy who plays Jack now (not the original Jack, Terry something or other) got in a fist fight. I wish someone would have filmed that.

I still miss that Luke and Laura storyline from General Hospital. To me, that was like a dream.

Great entry that brings back a lot of happy memories, Megan! *Heart*
