"SIMPLY POSITIVE GROUP

Hello there, Newbie! Welcome to WDC. *DragonflyY*
This is a Simply Positive Review!

*Vine1* My heart ached a bit as I read this poem. It has quite a melancholy tone to it.

*BeakerV* From what I could glean from the poem, there was a baby boy born, who did not have both parents with him growing up. I think, he had no father in the home to play ball with and learn sports, and father-son things that he so craved. Thus,in his mind, he missed so much. He almost felt invisible in the world because he could not identify with home and family and being loved.

*Paperdoll* could be way off with my interpretation, but poetry does leave much room for readers to interpret the story, based on the words woven within the lines, and using the pictures they've formed in their own mind's eye.

Observationa:

"Who will learn [teach] the boy and cultivate the man"

*Glasses* This appears to be a free verse poem, as I see no structured rhyme. I like free verse, myself.

Well done! *CheckP*

Until next time--write on!

Regards,
WebWitch
