*Lightning2* Holy Smokin' jollies, Shannon, way to step-up the fantasy prompt. It had both a classical feel to it as well as a futuristic quality. All the characters come to life (no pun intended) right inside my mind's eye. Good capturing your reader and keeping her attention 'til the end, which by the way had the creep factor working.

Observations:

*Monster5* Reminiscent of Frankenstein, but with a more realistic touch, with the transfusions described through the eyes of a writer who knows of what she speaks. Descriptions of the vein and artery, transport systems delivering the "potion" in one spot while the former, life-supporting blood is forced out the other, brings imagery of the procedure to the reader's mind, thus becoming front row witness to the scene.

Nothing wrong with that! *BoxCheckB*

*Bug* Then I had to think of the unwise choice of cadavers Povey chose to perform his reanimation experiment. Does he really want to bring that type of character back to life? Seems he is creating another set of problems for society.

Good way to leave the story ... a cliff hanger!

*Skier* I found this story to be a creep/fun read.

Fine job with the fantasy prompt! *Check*

Good luck with the contest, and again, thanks for entering! *Delight*
