Hello Thundersbeard!
I'm a big fantasy writer/reviewer/lover and I am representing simply positive reviewing group today. I wanted to read and review your thoughts on naming fantasy characters because goodness... who hasn't read a fantasy story and cringed at the names? Or, wrote their own story and wondered how outlandish the name had to be? So, I was excited to check this out and hopefully give you some good feedback.

Below is my review of your item beginning with Corrections:

Corrections/Suggestions
*Note* I don't know if you would get into this with your article but please do, can you get into patriarch societies versus matriarch societies? Like, for example, I actually have a fantasy novel featuring a more matriarch society, getting more in-depth with the need to have a society well built out with gods, structure, punishment, etc.

*Snow4* I was wondering why 'Our/Their' culture is capitalized?

*Notepad* I feel like you can go into even more depth with this article, maybe even mention the need to know geography within the world you create? How people get from place to place? Even how money is handled would be interesting.

Focus points of your Article
The crux of my advice when naming characters is to have a hierarchy. And have consistency within that heirarchy.

Great point right here and I like how you get into the hierarchy being the crux of naming. I think that hierarchy is a thing that can be missed for fantasy pieces.

*Heart*Things Which I Enjoyed
Alliteration is always amongst the first examples of how not to name your characters but I have some thoughts of my own on how to name your characters.

I really liked how you focused on the Lois Lane Lana Lang as an example. I definitely feel like this piece and show a lot to the reader with examples. Such as I'd love to know what you think about a name like Katniss, or the recent popular sci-fi and fantasy names that have been used? Have these authors named it or are you groaning at the name choices?

*NoteV* Personally I groaned without ever reading The Hunger Games being called 'kat/kitty kat' as a nickname. I mean, you are a fierce warrior with a bow and arrow and... kat? Just made me think of her pawing at yarn instead of taking down a corrupt society.

Overall Comments
Overall, I know that this article is focusing mainly on names which you really hit on so well. I think that you can expand this so much more especially since world creating truly is a full endeavor to emerge the reader fully in the experience. I hope that this review is helpful for you and gives you some ideas of more you can add to it. Thank you for sharing and keep on writing! =D
